I wish to learn Norwegian because my wife is Norwegian and we are moving to Oslo in July 2012. I speak some Norwegian but am only able to follow the most basic of Norwegian conversations . I wish to improve to the point where my wife's friends and family do not feel they have to speak English for my sake, and I can more or less follow what they are saying. I am prepared to dedicate as much time as necessary to get to this point by the middle of next year. I am a fairly fast learner and would hope that 3 hours a week of tuition in two sessions plus homework would be enough.

I work in Norway and as such wish to become fully fluent in order to further my career and converse with friends and others in their native language. I am a beginner but wish to become fluent as quick as possible and would like to commit to two hours a week where practicable. I would like to learn Norwegian as I have several friends who are from Norway and I would like to be able to travel to see them and be able to communicate with them in their native tongue rather then forcing them to speak in my own. I am a beginner with the language but usually can pick a language up quite quickly. I am in need of learning the language from the basics so every area will need help.
I am unsure how much time I will be able to dedicate to learning the language as I do not know how long it will be before someone contacts me.
For qualities I would like to find someone who is a native speaker of Norwegian as then I will know I am getting the accents correct when learning. I would like someone who is easy to talk to if I have issues with learning it and patience with me.
