I am a beginner at both Arabic and Albanian. Though I am taking classes at Georgia State because my minor is in Middle Eastern Relations my teacher is not well to be honest doing a very well job, we have covered the 28 sounds. I have an oppertunity to intern for the DHS for the summer but need to be a little more advanced and eventually become fluent. As far as Albanian goes, I want to learn because my family is from there but I was never taught the language. I know only a little converstaiona l phrases.

I have beginner's knowledge of Arabic and would like to increase my conversationa l ability as well as writing and especially spelling and grammar. I can meet with a tutor once or twice a week either in Atlanta, where I work, or New York (preferably Brooklyn or Manhattan) where I live. I have travelled to the Middle East, and lived in Yemen for 5 years, but that was 30+ years ago. I still remember the writing and pronounciatio n, but my skills are quite rusty. I work as an airline pilot, and my knowledge of Arabic would be helpful to many of my regular customers. Thank you for your response

I would like to begin Arabic, having no previous experience.
I am in high school, so intentions of career advancement or travel, etc, would perhaps apply in the future; my main motivations are interest in language in general and for literary purposes, i.e. poetry.
Ideally I would have 1-2 hours of lessons per week, with however much time necessary dedicated to practicing between lesssons.
I am looking for experience and flexibility with scheduling. Also, flexibility of location of lessons would be helpful.

Iam learning the language because I want to be able to speak with my wife and her family in arabic (my is moroccan) and because of my business as well and to complete my reading the Quran.
I need improvement on grammar, writing and conversation
I want to dedicate my time with 2/hr two days a week.
qualit ies i look for in my teacher is that they have system that easy for me to comprehend to get the language down and being very patience in helpig progress fast. I want to learn I dont want be in class room environment to test for a grade this my life.
