I traveled to Italy in 2004 and fell in love with everything about it. Now that I am graduating high school at the end of May I am thinking more and more about studying abroad in Rome. I am a beginner with a passion for learning this beautiful language. I would not mind spending two hours at a session. I feel the deeper I can dig in one sitting, the more I can advance. I'm looking for a teacher with a good amount of paitence and passion in what they teach!

I took Italian classes during college, but found that I did not have enough time to devote to the language at that time. I would consider myself to be a beginner, but I do still have some basic knowledge of grammar. I want to learn this language for several reasons. My grandparents speak Italian, and I know that it would strengthen my relationship with them if I could speak their language. Another reason to learn the language is so I can travel to Italy and be able to get around the country with ease. I need much improvement in conversationa l Italian because that is where I will be using it the most. I am willing to devote as much time as I need to learning this language. I can take classes once a week,and study on my own when I am not in class. I would like a teacher that will work with me in a small group, and make me feel comfortable with the conversationa l aspect of the language.
