I have never studied Italian, but I have been exposed to the language a lot. My level is probably intermediate (though my understanding is higher than that). I want to study Italian because my husband is Italian and we maybe moving to Rome in few years time. The focus of the lessons should be communication but still with an emphasis on grammar. I would like 3 hours a week one-to-one or in a small group.
The teachers needs to be qualified and not only a native speaker, creative and well prepared.

To whom this may concern
I am very interested in learning Italian. My family is from Italy but I was never taught the language.
It has always been a passion of mine to learn this beautiful language so that I may pass along my cultural background to my children in the future.
I speak little Italian now but would like to improve my skills.
Th e areas that I would like to improve upon is conversation in Italian.
I am looking to explore classes with a teacher who is well educated it Italian conversation.
I would like to do my classes perhaps once a week for 1 to 2 hours per class.

I am a beginner, however I do/did know Spanish (I am not sure if that helps or hinders).
I want to learn Italian for personal reasons. It is a beautiful language.
As to language lessons and time, I am not sure. I work full time. Ideally, I was thinking of finding once a week classes.
Qua lities I would like in a teacher are; enjoyment of teaching, patience, enthusiasm.
