I am interested in moving to Germany over the next 6 months to a year and would like to learn as much German as I can. Learning using books and self study courses has proven to be ineffective with other attempts and I would appreciate the assistance and motivation of a teacher within the Calgary area. I live in Germany part of the year and when I come back to visit Calgary I would like to practice my conversation skills. I am an advanced beginner (B1). I have taken 600 hours of the german intergration course but feel I need improvement with my verbal skills. I seem to 'lose' my german everytime I come back to Calgary and visit. I plan to be in Calgary for 12 weeks starting in the middle of June 2010. I can dedicate 1-3 hours a week, more if required. I am flexible as it is my summer holidays. I am looking for someone who will help me pronounce german words properly and have conversations that are grammatically correct.

I am looking for a capable, dependable person who enjoys teaching German. I have no experience with this language but do have the opportunity to practice with a native speaker.
