I'm interested in finding a teacher to help me learn Russian. I've started learning it on my own (still a beginner) but I'm finding it more difficult than other languages. I'd like to focus on grammar but also conversation. As I'm already learning two other languages at school and I have a job, I think it would be best to spend about an hour a week having lessons in person and then communicate through e-mail (or something like that) during the rest of the week. I'd like a teacher who is patient and above all, friendly and willing to help :D

First, I like to learn new langages. When I was in highschool, I had learn Latin for 3 years, Spanish for a year, a year of German and severals years of English. Those were my favorite classes. Since then I bought a few books and start to learn by myself other langages. Now I want to learn Japanese and German.
For the Japanese, I am more like a starter, not even a beginner. And for the German, I lost most of it so...
I want to be able to read and write in those langages more than talk. So grammar, vocabulary and stuff like that will be helpful.
I like to studied a lot and I can work on my lesson for more than 10 hours a week. But if it is possible to have a teacher for 2 to 3 hours a week I will be happy. I can manage my time to see a teacher twice a week. There is no problem with that.
I am looking for someone who live in Montreal or Longueuil. Who is patient and doesn't mind to repeat a lot. Even if I can learn fast, sometimes I'm stuck with some part of the lessons.

I am interested in learning German as I love languages and I feel it will really be beneficial to know more than one language as I get older. I study French, so i can speak French and English (French is intermediate level). I learn languages through grammar, verb conjugation/c onstruction, oral and written skills so I would hope to learn that same way for German. I was hoping to attend lessons 1 hour per week (once a week) which will give me time to practice and understand the concepts myself also. I would need to start with beginner German as I dont know any yet. I hope my teacher is understanding , helpful and dedicated to their work. I hope to be challenged as I am a smart kid, and I work very dilligently. I feel I can move very fast, especially with prior experience of learning another language.

I would like to learn a foreign language because although I don't necessarily need to learn another language, I'm sure it would come in useful many times in the future. I would like to learn Spanish because it is one of the most useful, and widely used languages. Learning another language would also open up new doors for many volunteering, and part-time career opportunities .
I am at a beginner level in Spanish. I have never learned it before, but I know a few of the basic phrases, such as how to start some casual conversations . I don't really know how to pronounciate the words correctly yet.
As I have barely started, I'm a beginner in all categories, and my strengths and weaknesses have not yet differentiate d themselves yet. However, taking my experiences with other languages into account, I would say that my pronounciatio n would need the most improvement, along with my oral capabilities when having a conversation with someone.
I also have interest in learning German or Italian, as I am planning on traveling to Europe sometime in the future, and would like to be familiar with some widely spoken European languages. However, I do not have any experience with German, and my Italian is very limited to musical terminology.
I am also interested in learning some Japanese. I know some common words and phrases, but I think my pronunciation is a little off. I am likely going to travel to Japan for a school trip next summer, and would like to at least learn some of the basics.
I am willing to dedicate as much time as possible in order to learn any language correctly, as I would like to become quite fluent with any languages that I learn.
While I am not looking for any highly specific qualities in my future teacher, I feel that I work best with enthousiastic , patient teachers and interactive lessons.

I took German while living in Germany and, sadly, have forgotten most of what I learned. Ultimately, I would like to be able to fully converse in German. I'm probably at a beginner level.
I am interested in grammar as well as conversationa l German.
I would like to have 2 or 3 lessons a week, if I can keep up.
The qualities I look for in teacher are a love of teaching and the ability to adjust to individual students' levels and needs. I hope to have assignments to work on in between classes.
My mobility is impaired so location could be an issue. I'm hopeful that we can work something out
