I would like to learn from, a 'beginner' level, but move to at least an intermediate level.
My motivation for wanting to speak French, is because my partner is French.
I feel very strong about learning ones language in order to better understand them, their culture, and of course their families.
I would also like to learn French, for my own personal development.
I would be happy to study for at least 2 hours a week for at least 10 weeks, and perhaps longer depending on my improvement.
I am seeking a serious tutor, whose native language is French, but who is also fluent in english, so that they are able to provide clear and concise explanations.
I learn by 'doing', therefore I need a tutor who uses a variety of materials in order to help me learn.
I would like a tutor who would be happy to work with me on a Wednesday or Thursday night.

I am making enquiries on behalf of myself and a friend. We are both interested in learning French. My partner is French speaking Belgian and as his family speak no English, I would like to learn their language. My friend may be moving to Lyon for business and is also interested. We would be looking at personal tutoring in the evenings possibly one or two evenings a week. We are both beginners and it has been a very long time since either of us took French at school so we would be looking for a tutor with patience

I am an absolute beginner to the French language. My fascination with both the language and the culture of the French nation has been building up for years. I am now in a suitable position to devote myself to learning the language as well as more about the culture and country. I am currently completing a full-time university degree, so my time is limited by that, but i would like to be able to devote at least 5 or so hours per week to the language.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I'm looking for a teacher for French who could teach me in a small class or in private lessons (depending on the price). I'm currently here in Auckland because I'm doing my PhD here, but I'll be leaving for New Caledonia the beginning of June for field work, which is why I need to learn French. I started studying back home in Germay for about three months quite intensively, so I'm not an absolute beginner any more.
