I am from New Zealand but have lived in Australia for 13yrs. I am in search of a tutor who can dedicate there time to teaching myself Tagalog. I do live in an area where it is quite limited so it was impossible for me to find someone who could teach me Tagalog face to face. Since the age of 15 I have been surrounded by the Filipino culture. Many of my friends are Filipino. I have a Filipino partner who has also been brought up in Australia since the age of 7 but unfortunately he cannot speak Tagalog fluently. He does know a few basic words which he will say to me from time to time but not enough for me to learn. I have visited the Philippines, Manila and I fell in love with it in an instant. I want to be able to communicate to my Filipino friends and the many aunties and uncles who are also Filipino that I know off. I want to eventually know how to speak it fluently. Tagalog is a beautiful language, it is the language that I want to learn.

I have a fillipino girlfriend and I am only a beginner. Out of respect for her parents and for future business interest I would like to learn the dialogue.
I need overall assistance in grammar and conversation.
I fly back to the phillipines in 6 months, so 4-6 hours per week, 2x 1 hour at night and then 2 hours on Saturday or Sunday
