Greetings! I would like to learn Moroccan Arabic as my husband and I are moving there in a few months with our 2 year old daughter. I am a certified elementary school teacher here in Orlando and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from UCF, so I have no doubt that I will be able to secure a teaching position there. I would like to learn conversationa l Moroccan Arabic (Darija). The qualities I am looking for in a language teacher are patience, enthusiasm and a native speaker of Darija. I don't think I have time to learn to write it - I have a toddler at home, so that might prove to be too time consuming! I would just like to communicate with my family in Fes. Thanks! I want to learn arabic because my soon to be husband is from jerusalem and speaks arabic an i want to be able to talk to him in his own language to better understand him. I bought a book from barns and noble to learn the letters and how to write them but i am still a beginner. i need help learning as much as the language as i can i wish to be fluent so i am willing to dedicate 5 days a week every week until i feel that i can hold a full conversation using the right pronounciatio n. i am looking for a teacher that will make the lessons fun to learn, someone that would help me to reach my goals.

I am interested in learning languages because I plan on traveling and living abroad after I finish school. I have studied Arabic in college for a semester and traveled to Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. I lived in Tanzania for three months and can speak on an intermediate level. My Arabic is probably high beginner, I can read and write, but definitely need improvement speaking and listening.
I am also interested in learning French and Spanish, because they are very useful languages. Particularly French because I am planning to travel and work in Africa. I am on the beginner level for both of these languages.
I do not have a need to be extremely fluent in any of these languages, just want to be very competent. However I am very motivated to learn and will always be prepared and eager for new information. During class time I would like to have teachers who conduct the lessons not in english, and a lot of conversation in the language being learned as this is how I learn best.
