Hoi, I have a basic understanding of the Dutch language as I lived in Holland for about 4 years. I wish to learn the language fluently as one day I wish to move back. I would spend every day either reading, or on the computer doing extra work but would like a course in person once a week. My teacher should be from the Netherlands as to insure proper grammar and expressions.

I don't know much Dutch. I had two or three online lessons but I think its better to learn in person. I need to be able to speak and understand it to an advanced level. I would like to be able to take lessons at least four hours a week. I can dedicate more time.
My instructor has to be respectful towards ladies given he is a guy. ;-) He/she has to have good credentials and she/he must be really advanced in the language he/she is about to teach me.

Hello,
I would like to learn Dutch. I am considering applying for a scholarship to do a Masters Degree in Groningen. The degree is given in English but I would have more chances to get the scholarship if I can demonstrate that I speak some of the local language. I currently have no knowledge of Dutch. I would be leaving for Groningen in the fall of 2007. And I would like to have a good understanding of Dutch grammar and be able to have simple conversations . I am looking for a teacher with good teaching credentials. I am fluent in English and French. I can also speak some Russian and a bit of Farsi and Urdu.
