Our daughter, Amalie Herluf Macnaughtan, is half English, half Danish. She can study English at school here in England, but not Danish.
We are looking for a native Danish speaking teacher, who from September 2013 will either
1)Travel to our daughter's school in Calne, Wiltshire, and give her weekly lessons there, or
2)Trave l to our home nearby and give lessons there, or to whom
3)Our daughter travels to receive lessons, where the teacher's office is based

I am fascinated by the Danish language and very interested in Danish culture and architecture. I enjoy learning languages and already speak German fluently, so this would be something of a serious hobby for me.
I've been learning Danish both with a friend and through self-study with the help of books and online materials for two months, and I wouldn't say I'm a complete beginner. I know quite a bit of vocabulary and some very very basic grammar, but I learn quickly.
I would like to spend two hours per week (preferably a little more) learning Danish in/around central London, depending on the price. I prefer teachers who are fun and are as enthusiastic about their own language and country as the people learning it as a foreign language.
