I lived in the Philippines for several years but only picked up very rudimentary Tagalog.
I now have babies in Leyte who unfortunately only speak bisaya. We love each other to death but having a translator(my asawa most times) to speak to my own babies is pretty pathetic.
I am very very keen to learn Bisaya so that I can communicate with my immediate and extended family comfortably. I want to utilize every advantage that I can to jumpstart the process.
