My daughter is interested in studying the language because she wants to be a exchange student in 2010 and she needs at least one year of Japanese before she can get accepted to the program. She has been studying for 3 months now independently and has been doing very well but we need the formaly tutoring to show to them.
As for how much time I am not sure what the tutor structure is, would 2-3 hours 3 days a week work. I mean I dont know what will work.
The qualities would be someone with patience and drive and that will take my daughter to the next level so that when she is out in Japan she will be able to float. Thank you

I am a beginner. My husband is Bosnian and I would like to learn the language in order to communicate with his family. I would probably like to spend 1-2 hours a week working with an instructor and could do homework/stud y on my own throughout the week.
