I have taken two courses in Hindi in college, 101 and 102 but I am basically I beginner. I love hindi and everything about it, the culture, the people, etc and I want to continue with the language learning. I would like to take lessons twice a week. I am a native English speaker. I have some experience with Spanish, (3 years of high school and one semester in college which was about 8 years ago.) I have also taken a semester of French, (though very little is retained.) I have taken diction classes in German and Russian. I am considering a trip to the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, (Chennai) and would also like to learn Hebrew. I would love to learn any language that might help me in India.
I live about 30 minutes south of Nashville and would be willing to travel to Nashville once per week.
I am a visual learner and will want to understand the basis of the alphabet as well as grammar and cultural contexts.
