Hi--
Initia lly I have a specific need. I am about to publish a YA novel entitled Swan of War, which takes place in Sligo and shuttles between ages of Irish myth and legend.
I researched the book for several years, however, as I'm submitting the final draft, I would like to have an Irish speaker review the glossary and check the pronunication for the 80 Irish mythological names and terms.
We could do this via email-- if you let me know your rates, I also teach in midtown if you prefer to meet up. In addition I would very much like to begin studying Irish, so perhaps we could have a longer connection.

im try to learn hindi because its one of the oldest and original tongues spoken plus most hindus speak it and it will make my life easier when comunicating. im a beginner, i prefer conversationa l skills but grammar is welcome also, in time frame i guess a few months with at least 2-3 visits per week, qualities on teacher ... Good Afternoon! I am interested in becoming 'fluent' in sign language for several reasons, both personal and professional. I am an anesthesiolog ist working at a large medical center. I have come in contact with an increasing number of deaf patients who come for surgery. I want to be able to communicate with them without the need to call for an interpreter. It is my belief that by communicating with a deaf patient in their native language I will establish a better repour and level of trust with that person. I have always been interested in sign language and took some beginner summer courses several years ago. I think it is a beautiful language. While in residency, I didn't have the time to fully dedicate studying and practicing. Now that I am finished with residency and working full time, I have more free time. It has always been a goal of mine to learn sign language. Now that I have encountered more deaf patients in my line of work, I am more determined than ever to be able to communicate with them.
