My fiancee and I are learning Sanskrit because of our interest in Ayurveda. We are both beginners. I would like to start by spending 1 or 2 hours per week learning in private sessions preferably. I am looking for a tutor who is kind, patient, very experienced and affordable. I also prefer to meet our teacher before lessons begin to find out if we're a good match.

I am Indian by birth, I was born in Bombay and lived there till I was 21 years of age. I have lived in several asian countries and the middle east before moving to the US where I now reside. I grew up speaking mostly English but have a good understanding and speaking capability for Hindi. I would like to learn and expand my knowledge of Urdu (mostly speech), and learn Sanskrit. This is for my personal growth and interest. I will need grammer, conversation and an understanding of the concept of the language. If given the right materials and teacher, I would spend about 1/2 hour everyday towards studying, and enhance that with books, movies and other ways to expose my interest further. I would like to have a teacher who is strong in Urdu and Sanskrit and has a solid knowledge of their origins. They should be able to speak English, although I can understand Hindi.

Hello,
I will be happy to learn Sanskrit - the oldest and sacred language or Hindi which is so beautiful. It's a part of my spiritual education.
I'm easy-learning student and I do speak 4 languages. I need help with the beginning level (pronunciatio n, base grammar etc).
The preferred schedule is 2 times/week at evening time (or, the best - on weekend, any time).
The word 'Teacher' is very special for me.
