Description	I am a beginning student of Catalan. I have several books, computer programs and language tapes but have found that I am not getting very far. I have been to Barcelona and would like to go back again speaking the language fluently. This winter I am planning to spend two weeks in rural Catalunya as part of a farming exchange program (WWOOF.org) to help with the olive harvest and have my first real experience trying to speak Catalan. I could spend two hours a week on lessons until November. After November, I could spend as many hours as necessary. I am looking for a teacher with a sense of humor who can expertly explain grammar to someone who may not understand the technical nuances right away. I will need to take lessons primarily via email with telephone conversations to help develop accentuation and pronounciatio n. I am willing to pay a reasonable price for lessons and would like to plan to take lessons for at least 1 year.
