Hi Olga,
My husband and I are adopting two young children (under 3 years old, a boy and girl) from Russia. We are now waiting for our match! I have been studying a little Russian from books but would like to learn the language from a native speaker and to eventually teach our children both English and Russian. I am looking for a teacher who is patient but will challenge me, and perhaps long term to help with teaching our children, probably in our home at that point. Until then I would like to have lessons once or twice a week and preferably not have to drive very far! I would also like to learn more about the Russian culture. My husband and I are adopting a baby from Russia and we would like to work with a russian language teacher/tutor for the purpose of learning basic Russian conversation. We have no backround at all in the Russian language. We would be interested in working with someone once per week perhaps for a couple of hours each time. This would be negotiated accordingly. Our teacher/tutor needs to be flexible and understand that this is something we want to enjoy.
