Hello,
I would very much like to learn the Urdu/Hindi language and I'm looking for a teacher that spoke Hindi or Urdu as their first language. Experience teaching would be a plus, but really isn't necessary as teaching one's native language comes naturally and relatively easy for most people. Fluency in English, however, is mandatory.
I wish to learn phonetically (roman alphabet), but other than that, I would let you tailor the lessons/struc ture.
Please reply with a little bit about your background, hourly rate, and why you think you'd make a good instructor. Also, please be someone who is patient. I am very serious about this, NOT someone who is ever a quitter, and I would like to find an instructor relatively soon for either hourly or 1.5 hour weekly lessons. If you made it all the through my posting, I do appreciate it!

I am interested in learning basic conversationa l Hindi in order to be able to converse with friends. I would like a tutor to help me get started by introducing me to basic grammar and script. I estimate I would want/ need about two months of lessons (once a week.)
