I am from Malaysia, and have a strong interest to learn Mandarin to communcate better with my close freinds whom are Chinese, and also in my business environment. I am a beginner, but have studied Mandarin in school, during my early years. Vocabulary, pronounciatio n and conversation is my focus. Hi
I am a Scottish greenkeeper working on a golf course near Tønsberg. I am keen to learn the language ,I had been taking Norwegian lessons back in Edinburgh but for only around 6 weeks so i am still at a begginer stage. I will be looking to take lessons for 1.5 or 2 hours a week if possible.

I live and work in Norway with my family and want to be fluent in the langauage. I feel restricted in social/work situations due to my lack of knowledge / confidence withthe language. I plan to be here long term so the sooner I get a grasp the better.
Have been here nearly 4 years and have completed level 4 with classroom and one to one with Folkenuniveri tet, Language Power School and Berlitz. I find one to one better suited to me.
Need to improve on speaking confidence / conversation skills. Reading is ok though not great. Can follow what people say ok but really only pick up 50% of it.
I am looking to spend a some hours each week in the evenings.
I have tried several teachers over the years and I find that an interactive discussion with examples and tests is good. Someone with patience and who can keep me on track for improvement. I dont want to just read from a book. I need to be tested. Be challenged to think.
