I am fijian but born in Aotearoa. My family settled in New Zealand in the 1960s. My mum could speak Fijian and Hindi as a child but after moving to New Zealand, lost those languages. I would like to learn Fijian so I can communicate with my family in Fiji.

I want to learn fijian because i will be spending the next two years in fiji.. so i need to know the language to be able to get around and make friends.. i basically lack conversation skill so i am looking to build on that.. and also i am a beginner in that language

I've always wanted to learn Fijian, I really love their culture and possibly might move their oneday. I'm planning to join the Police force here in New Zealand and it really helps to have other languages, especially here where we have a large Pacific Island population. I'd also like to do missionary work around the Pacific Islands. Fiji would by far be my favourite language to learn. I'm baisically a complete beginner to the Fijian language, I'm looking for someone who can tech me conversationa l Fijian. I'm often quite busy so it would be preferable to learn via e-mail so they can be checked at both ends at suitable times.
