Bonjour!
I'm looking for a French teacher in Kansai, in Nara, Osaka or Kyoto.
I'm currently a graduate student at Kyoto University, doing my Master's degree in Philosophy. Next year I'd like to study in Paris for my PhD.
I'm a 28 year old Canadian and though I learned French as a student there, I need to improve a lot. My written and spoken French are quite bad (that's why I'm writing in English) but my reading is ok and my listening skills are quite good, I think.

I will be starting graduate school (Masters in Philosophy) here in Japan in April. In addition to English and Japanese, French is necessary for the entrace exam. Of course, it is also invaluable for my studies.
I was born in Canada and therefore have a good foundation in French. What I would like is an opportunity to learn and use advanced French with a native speaker. It is essential that he or she be interestered in the Arts (literature, philosophy, visual art, etc.) as I would like to discuss those topics in French.
