I am engaged to a Filipina and am going back to the Philippines to marry her in December 2010. I want to be able to speak a bit of tagalog and be able to understand key words or more so I can have an idea what all her friends and family are saying.
My fiancee speaks fluent English but her family doesn't. I picked up a few words out there in January of this year and can count to 10 but that is about it. Eventually I'd like to know even more but for now basic communication is important.
