My proficiency level is very much beginner. I am a 26yr old musician who is wanting to learn German, or at least grasp the basics, in view of moving to Berlin beginning of next year. Despite having toured Germany many times I have almost no understanding of the language, which leads me to the unfavorable conclusion that i have no natural aptitude for languages...h opefully this isn't the case.
I generally have a busy schedule but aim to be able to fit in up to two 1hr sessions a week. I'm looking for a teacher with abundant patience who doesn't mind repeating themselves. I guess I am most concerned with the speaking/spok en side of the language in the short term, although whatever program of learning that is considered optimum by tutor is fine. As a student I am dedicated to the task and strive to excel in anything I do.
