Im am a fourth year undergraduate student attending the University of Limerick. I wouold consider myself to have an intermediate level of German. I have completed German up to Leaving Certificate higher level.
I want to improve my German because my area of interest in third level is European Integration and the EU. A second language vital for this, particularly for some post-graduate courses I wish to pursue.
I think the main area that I need improvement in is my Grammar although i'm sure other areas also need attention.
A minimum of one class / session a week.
I believe a good rapport with a teacher is vital. Apart from that I am willing to embrace any methods that the teacher wants to use if I find them effective.
