I studied German every day for 5 weeks while studying music in Salzburg, Austria. This class was five years ago. I am an opera singer and need to become much more fluent in German for auditions in European houses next fall. I do not remember much grammar, especially cases.
I would prefer to work in a group of 2-4 people, twice a week this summer. I am looking for a teacher who will use conversation mostly . If the group could involve other singers or musicians that would be absolutely ideal----voca bulary could be very relevant then.

I am looking for an instructor to teach my 10-year old son german. He is a beginner, but both his father and I are fluent in german, which is why he would like to learn it as well. We are flexible on the lesson plan -- for the summer an intense submersion course could be considered, or a class or personal sessions meeting 1-2 times per week could also work. I am looking for a teacher that will make learning fun and utilize a child's natural learning ability through song or daily activities rather than straight paper and pencil worksheet-typ e learning.

I have taken 4 semesters of german in college three years ago. I need to find affordable german classes for intense review before I take a german course in college this coming fall. I am planning to go into german translation. I need improvement in all areas. I want to spend a good deal of time over the summer learning. My sister and I are interested in learning to speak conversationa l German in person in the Houston area. Her husband is in the army and they are about to be transferred to Germany (20 minutes from Austria) in mid-August.
