I wish to learn Cantonese as I believe it will be an added advantage at my work place. It is not for career advancement, but more of a desire to communicate with those who are not to fluent in English.
My proficiency level: Beginner.
I would like to concentrate on conversations , however, i would like to also learn fundamentals of the dialect and grammar, etc
I can spend about 2-4 hours a week.
I would like a teacher who is motivating, yet patient and understanding of the difficulties of learning a new language; a new anything in fact. I have been overwhelmed before learning a new language and gave it up because i did not have the right teacher.
I would like for my lessons to be the sort where I feel i did learn something and i comprehend and connect it to my life.
