I would like to learn both Spanish and French because I am interested in knowing all of the official languages of both Canada and the United States of America. This will be convenient for both my future job as well as my love for travel. I am a beginner in both of these languages, so I need improvement in all aspects of the languages. I would like to be conversationa l in both languages, ultimately working toward fluency in both. I am looking for a teacher that is mainly focused on conversation, rather than strictly on grammar. I know that the two are important and work together, but I need to feel comfortable speaking the language, rather than only in reading and writing. I am willing to go to language lessons once or twice a week. I would love to go more often, but I don't think that would be possible as I am a student and also work part-time. I need a teacher that thinks of creative ways to teach me the material.
