Hi,
I am eager to learn spoken Gujarati. I grew up with English as my first language but my parents often spoke Gujarati in the house. I can understand certain words and phrases but I am unable to speak the language with any confidence or fluidity. My goal is simply to improve my spoken Gujarati to the point where I can have general conversations . I would characterize my current level as beginner.
I live and work in San Francisco and would be available to meet anytime on weekends for 2-3 hour classes. I can possibly meet on weekdays in the evenings too - but this would be infrequent.

My fathers first language is Gujarati, and I am trying to learn the language before I visit my grandfather in December. Obviosly I know that there is no way of learning an entire language, with a full time job, by December, but I wish to learn as much as I can. I am a beginner. I need improvement especially in converstion, and can dedicate weekends and nights.
I am 23, and learning a new language at this age may be hard, so I need a patient instructor.
