I am interested in learning Urdu because i am half Pakistani and I was never taught the language. I would like to become more involved in learning about the culture and knowing the language would make it much easier to do so. I have no previous experience in learning Urdu but I am most interested in learning the conversationa l part of it. I am interested in taking a class once a week for about an hour and a half or so. Company has re-located to Oman and wish to converse with local and indian expatriates.
I have no knowledge of the language and will find it difficult to learn in a clss room environment so i would need a patient ,preferabbly female teacher.

I would like to learn the language for personal reasons as I would like to be able to converse with other urdu speakers. I am able to understand certain parts of urdu, however am not able to speak it, so my main objective would be learning the speaking aspect. I am willing to commit to at least 2 hours on a weekly basis for tutorials. I would like a tutor who is a native speaker and posesses qualities of being polite, paitent and focused so that I get the maximum benefit from the lessons.

My wife is from Pakistan. I would like to learn Urdu to speak confidently with her family. I would consider myself as a beginner. I can spend 2-3 hours per day learning. Any teacher who speaks Urdu will be fine.
