I am a beginner, never spoken a word of French before. The reason i want to learn french is because i want to join the French Foreign Legion and one of the requirements is the ability to speak french fluently. I work during the day so i can only attend lessons from 5pm or later.

We are a family of four, two adults, and two children (aged 8 and 10). We have been learning french with dvd's and cd's (pc and audio). We have basic vocabulary and can say basic sentences. We would like to expand it and get started with basic conversation. We would like to spend one hour per week, and get a bit of work to learn in between lessons.
