Basically, I have a love for communicating and connecting with people, no matter their background. I feel I have an exceptional talent for langages, well, in other words I am confident that I can learn.
I am a native English speaker. My famly only speaks English.
I started off Arabic beginners classes, both speaking, reading and writing, to an intermediate level. I then took part in Dari classes, both in speaking, ready and writing.
I would mostly like to improve my Urdu skills as I have had no formal teaching ... I would like an intensive course so that I am fluent and compenant in both speaking, reading and writing.
I want to dedicate as much time as I can to learning, as soon as the class ends, doesn't mean I swtich my brain off. I am a hard working, motivated student.

I have no previous experience with Arabic and have always wanted to learn it.
I have learned a little Japanese (in college), German (while in Germany) and urdu. Thus, I would also like to improve on these three languages.
I want to achieve native speaking level (pronunciatio n and listening) as well as writing, reading, and vocabulary. If I can't have lessons in person, I would like the make full use of internet and phone.

Hi,
A friend and I are looking to take Urdu classes together. I am from a Pakistani background who's parent's speak Urdu fluently but never learned myself as my parents registered me in French Immersion since Junior Kindegarten through High School. I have always found a beauty in the language and feel that it will help me in connecting better with my heritage. Also I would love to pass on the language to my children some day.
My friend is looking to take Urdu lessons as many of her reffered clients are of Indian/Pakist ani background who speak Urdu/Hindi and feels like it would be a great asset to her career.
Our proficiency is at a beginner level, and would love to get to a proficient level of conversation and grammar.
With regards to time dedication, it would depend on a customized program whereby the instructor would decide how many classes are necessary to be able to formally converse in Urdu.
We are looking for our teacher to be polite, patient and bilingual in English and Urdu. We would also love a teacher who can develop a formal lesson plan from the basics to a more developed curriculum whereby we are able to exercise our teachings from classes through conversationa l activities.
