I want to learn arabic for career advancement of course, but also a chance to move forward in my career and maybe visit the place that I want in the middle east without being lost in translation. My proficiency in Arabic is not that great, not only I want to learn about the language, but also I want to learn about the culture the Arabian culture. grammar, conversation, listening, able to talk fluently would be great. I want to dedicate at least a year of it and see where I am. the qualities that I am looking for in a teacher is simple, to be there when I am needed.

I want to learn Arabic in a professional setting. No in-home environment. I already know how to read in Arabic, but I don't understand what I'm reading, so this is definitely something I want to tackle. I also want to learn how to engage in a conversation and understand all TYPES of dialects, but learning how to write isn't so important.

My mother and I want to learn Arabic because it is one of the most popular languages used around the world. My mother wants to learn more for the pleasure of learning, while I would like to learn in order to build my resume and make myself more attractive to employers abroad.
Neither of us is proficient in Arabic in any form.
We would like to dedicate however long it takes to become comfortable using the language in conversation.
I would like a teacher who is available for questions, who really enjoys teaching. We would like someone who would be able to teach us in person as well.

I am learning arabic for personal interest, and maybe for work eventually. I took a class in Syria for only 3 weeks and would like to continue in Ottawa.
