I am a manager of a multi-cultura l residential home for the elderly. As a high percentage of our residents are Gujarati speaking I am looking at the possibility of lessons for some staff in Gujarati conversation.
The classes would be small (most likely between 8 and 12) and would need to take place in the home at an agreed time due to the need to ensure adequate care for residents during the lessons. I am looking for a short course with classes taking place weekly.
I need to know costs and lesson plans etc first in order to take these to my manager to agree funding.

I am an English speaker living in Mumbai. I recently married a British man whose family comes from Gujarat, so instead of learning Hindi now and then trying to figure out the Gujarati, I would prefer to learn Gujarati now. I am a beginner... I know nothing about sentence structure, parts of speech, etc and only know a few vocabulary words I have learned over the last few years.
I want to dedicate a few hours per week to my actual lessons, and then I will practice at home with my husband, who is fluent. I am looking for a teacher that will laugh at my mistakes with me, but still correct me effectively.
