I wish to learn a foreign language for the purpose of enjoyment. I travel lots to different countries, and knowing more than just one language would be helpful to me. I am a beginner student in German, also have friends and cousins that live in Germany. Would also like to improve my pronunciation , conversation and to use proper grammar. Qualities I am looking for in an instructor, is someone who would be accommodating and patient. I am willing to give as much time during the week as I need to, to learn and hold a conversation with other german speakers.

I am learning German because I want to be able to speak more than one language. I chose German because I have German friends and work for a German company. I am a beginner, and know just a few basic phrases and words. I would like to work on both grammar and conversation. I am looking for a teacher that is very good at explaining things and is either native German or has been teaching German for a long time. It is very important to me to learn it right the first time.
