I wish to travel to germany next year as my two best friends are from and live in german. They are both full germans so speak fluent german and fluent english. I know only a very very very small amount of german but just such as schnee and simple words. and only about 10. i would like to dedicate as much time to these language classes as possible as i would like to be able to speak fluent german if possible when i travel there in May 2012. In a teacher i am looking for someone who is capable of teaching me fluent german and quickly but efficently if possible. I would also like that the german teacher would be in Whangarei New Zealand so i can learn face to face. And that we could get together maybe 3 afternoons a week for approximatley a year. or however long it will take within a year to teach me :) please help!

I am wanting to learn german as my sister moved over there 11 years ago and is now married and has a child there. I plan on going over to Germany to do au pair work and I plan on spending a decent amount of time there. I am a complete beginner with the language and I am really only interested in learning in a conversationa l capacity. At this point I am not on a time limit so I do not have a set time I want to dedicate to lessons, it just depends on how they go. I am looking for a teacher who I feel comfortable around and who explains things well.
