Dear who may be concerned,
I am a mother (Korean nationality) of a 5 year old boy Gene. His father is German. We are using mainly English and Korean and home and we would like to start Gene to get familiar with German language.
Gene shows interest in learning German and we believe now would be the right time to start his German lessons.
O nce or twice a week would be great to start off.
Since Gene is still so young, we would like to find a child friendly teacher who is interested and adaptable to Gene's learning capacity and his enthusiasm.

Meine Tochter Luvena ist in New York zur Welt gekommen, meine geschiedene Frau ist Türkin, ich bin Deutscher. Luvena ist neun Jahre alt, und ist nach der Trennung ihrer Eltern mit meiner geschiedenen Frau vor sechs Jahren nach Istanbul gezogen, wo sie auf die MEF International School geht, die aber kein Deutsch als Lehrfach anbietet, sondern Spanisch. Ich möchte aber, dass meine Tochter noch im frühen Alter Deutsch als weitere Sprache lernt, da ich mich zwar in Englisch perfekt mit ihr unterhalten kann (wie übrigens auch meine Frau, die lange in London und USA gelebt hat), nur eben nicht in meiner Muttersprache . Können sie mir kurzfristig helfen? Bin heute noch in Istanbul, ab morgen dann wieder in Frankfurt am Main, wo ich derzeit lebe. Vielen Dank, beste Grüße, Klaus Hang

I am a foreign student living here in Istanbul with my family. I have been studying German for about a year right now. I want to continue with my second year. Although I have been studying this language for a year I feel like I need to improve my grammar. I am learning German, because I find it to be very interesting and fun. I feel like I am talented in this particular area. I am thinking of spending a total of 3 hour a week. I would prefer to divide this time to twice a week, an hour and a half each. I have been following a specific curriculum so far, and so my lessons would need to be very disciplined and organized. I love expressing myself in German and I am a person who loves to talk. I am sure my teacher will know the best way to teach me, but as a I said it would need to be disciplined and organized both on my part and hers. Of course, I am sure we will give importance to communicating as well. I prefer my teacher to be a female. I wish to find a teacher as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your concern.
