I am hoping to continue my current Arabic studies once I move to Doha in several weeks. I am learning for personal growth, career advancement, and cultural literacy, and I've greatly enjoyed my experience with the language thus far. I have studied Fusha almost exclusively, with very little exposure to Egyptian Aamiyya and no exposure to Khaleeji. I am still very much a beginner in Fusha as well.
I am hoping to spend 1-3 hours each week with a tutor. I will be working in al-Khor, with a somewhat unconventiona l schedule, so it's necessary that a tutor be adaptable and willing to meet in the morning or on weekends. English proficiency is not a must, but patience and expertise in Fusha and Khaleeji are. I own a small variety of study materials, and would like to continue using those to aid my progression in Arabic if at all possible.
I am a fast learner, a hard worker, and generally fun to be around, and I hope to find a tutor that is capable of adapting to my needs as a student over the next year.
