Hello,
I am a beginner, and understand some basic phrases, including greetings and numbers. I will be in Oklahoma for the next 4 months, and have availability to travel to Texas on the weekends. I would also like to have lessons by email, telephone, and chat. I am learning Hebrew because I travel frequently to Israel for work, and although my counterparts all speak very good English, I would like to be able to understand and converse in Hebrew. I am willing to dedicate as much time as it takes to become near fluent. I am looking for a tutor/instruc tor who cares about individual needs and learning pace.

My husband is from Israel and we travel there from time time. We also have a lot of Israeli friends here, and I feel lost when we hang out with them. I am able to follow their conversations and figure out what their talking about, but I would like to be able to join in.
I have been around the Hebrew language for four years now, so it doesn't sound so foreign to me. Also, I am a native Spanish speaker, so the sounds and pronunciation are easier for me. I would prefer to have an Israeli teacher so I can learn the everyday usage of the language. I am not interested in learning the Torah, or anything religious. I can learn from English, although learning Hebrew from Spanish would probably be easier.
I'm prefer in-person classes, but online/teleph one might be OK as well.
