I'm looking to learn Spanish as I only know one language (English) and would like to learn something new. Also, I'm a nurse and would like to travel with my job but a lot of the places im interested in require you to be Bi -Lingual, and most require spanish as a second language. As far as my proficiency in spanish goes, the only words I know I picked up off of old western movies. So Basically si and señorita is it! I am a fast learner, and easy to get along with. I Would like to start off at 1hr lessons a week, as if we get along and I'm picking the language up well enough maybe going to 2hr lessons a week. Im interested in learning both verbal and written Spanish. I learn better with face to face contact.

For quite some time I have been interested in learning a second language. For no other reason than for my own enjoyment, to broaden my knowledge and advance myself.
I am a beginner, as I have no current vocabulary in the Spanish language.
I would like to learn at least the basics and advance from there.
Honestly speaking, I have never done a one-on-one lesson in any aspect of life and would have to say someone who is at ease and patient. I am a quick learner and work hard, but as stated previously, I have no existing experience with Spanish. A quality that is as important is a teacher who can engage the student in many different ways; meaning, I am a very 'hands on' kind of individual. Speaking words and asking to repeat them is not a learning tool that I work well with.
I hope to find the right fit and am excited to move forward!
