I have been trying to learn Italian through the Rosetta Stone and altho I am on Level 3, I am not comfortable actually speaking and forming my own sentences. I want to learn Italian because I want to go back there and feel more a part of the country. I don't want to feel like just another tourist.

I have some very good friends in Italy with whom I would to be able to converse in Italian on an adult level. In high school (several years ago) I studied Spanish and French.
My only experience with Italian has been in learning Italian opera arias in music school and expressions and vocabulary I'd picked up while traveling through Italy on tour or visiting my friends.
I 'd like to start with weekly or semi-weekly lessons in person. I would need to start at a beginner level because I need a refresher in grammar. And I've heard that Italian grammar becomes relatively more complicated and difficult at advanced levels.

- I am a beginner (I am fluent in Spanish)
- I am learning the language because I plan on moving to Italy in May and would like to be familiar with the language before I go. In addition I have a possible job offer in Italy if I can successfully advance myself to conversationa l Italian.
- I would like to take 2-3 hours per week along with study time at home
