I am at the beginner level of understanding /writing Hindi. I want to learn this language because I am a second generation Indian in this country and want to be able to speak my native language. I am going to spend 1 month in Mysore, India. Although, Kannada is the language of Mysore I would like to start learning basic Hindi because it is the official language of India. I have never attempted to study Hindi so I am at an elementary level. I have time to study once a week until November 14th and after November 14th I could have 2 classes.
