I would like to be fluent in Gujarati, as it is the language of my partner and her family. I speak English as my first language, as well as French and German to varying degrees.
I have been teaching myself for around a year but struggling due to the lack of resources that are aimed at beginner-leve l, English-speak ing students. I have a studied the script, and am familiar with writing, as well as simple present tense sentences. I am particularly struggling with past and future tense.
I anticipate dedicating around 8 hours per month, depending on distance required to be travelled and frequency of the lessons.
I would like my teacher to be a native speaker, perhaps also speaking Hindi as I would also like to learn this language in the future.

I am learning Gujarati in order to converse with my family in India.
I am a complete beginner - and have no base language skills in Gujarati, so I am a complete beginner.
I would like to commit 1-2 hours per week; but this depends on my travel plans. I travel quite a bit to work within Europe.
I need someone patient; as I'm not a natural leanrner of languages - but i really want to be able to talk to my family in India!
