i am gujarati by heritage and understand gujarati but would like to gain fluency. my children and i have been taking lessons for about 1.5 years in reading, writing and speaking gujarati but we have moved to virginia and lost our teacher in the move. i would like to continue lessons. i need a teacher who is patient and willing to be flexible with lesson times. we are dedicated and have been doing well in our studies so far, we have learned the alphabet and have been practicing reading and writing. i speak the language with my children but not as well as i would like and need help with grammar and expanding my fluency.

I want to learn Gujarati because I will need to be able to speak the language in order to converse with my boyfriends family. I have studied very little; just a few phrases and words, therefore I'm a beginner. I would like to improve in all aspects of the language. I will dedicate as much time as a tutor is available, and I will study on my own. I'm looking for a tutor that will take me step by step into the language. Teaching me vocabulary, grammer, conjugations; someone who is, in the long-run, able to help me speak Gujarati fluently.
