My fiance` is Punjabi, and we regularly visit his Punjabi family in Australia. In 2013, we are travelling to India to visit his parents, who don't speak much English, and I am very eager to converse with them in their mother tongue.
I am a beginner student, I only know a few words here and there.
I would like to have at least 1 hour lesson each week, maybe more if there's time.
Althou gh my fiance` can speak fluent Punjabi, I would like someone who is able to teach me how to put sentances together, and sentance structure etc.

I am currently not studying but would like to. I want to learn Punjabi as my husband is Punjabi and it would be great to comminucate with him better and be able to converse with my mother in-law. My boyfriend is Indian and has many friends that do not speak English. We also plan on regularly visiting his family in India and since marriage is on the cards, I would love to do my bit and learn what I can so I don't feel 'left out' of conversations he's having and can understand what is being said.
I would love to do 1 hour a week.. I am working and studying full time so am afraid that's all the time I'd be able to give to learning but would what to continue learning over a long period of time.
I am definately a beginner. I know nothing about how to speak punjabi..
All I would like from my teacher is to teach me in such a way that I can pick up the basics and understand roughly general conversation :)
