Hi, I have lived in France for ten years now and my language needs to improve as I do not feel that I am truly living as I should or want to!!
I understand conversation generally but lack being able to catch detail. I speak to a lower intermediate level but never with great fluidity. I have been lazy in my approach to learning and am now motivated and confident to improve. I would love to be able to interact on a better level with friends and my kids friends and to create opportunities to use my professional skills. I am an Art and CELTA teacher.

I have recently moved to France and have found myself with a few weeks of free time. I would like to immerse myself in as much French language learning in the next two weeks. I am a little above a beginner. I understand quite a bit, can read even more, but am slow to form sentences when speaking. I am a quick learner and can devote as many hours a day to learning as available. As for qualities in a teacher, I would just like to interact with someone who knows that I am trying to hold my own in conversation and in public as quickly as possible. =)
