I am learning a foreign language just to have a new skill for my career training. I am a beginner in all the languages selected above. I need improvement in all areas of the foreign languages the pronunciation , grammar, conversation, writing and almost all aspects. I want to dedicate a lot of time to my language lessons 3-4 days a week. I am looking for a dedicated individual who can not only teach me the language but help me to understand the culture, other aspects, and the different dialects. Hello, I Ambreen would like to address teachers of the Urdu language out there that are keen on finding an enthusiastic student. I am of Pakistani heritage however I have unfortunately missed out on learning the language, mostly due to being born and brought up in Australia and not being exposed enough to the language. I am here on this site somewhat as a last resort to learning the language to a sufficient degree from the very basics with someone willing to teach me. I would like to be able to go to Pakistan and speak properly with my family, not to mention with people here at home. I have minimal exposure to Urdu and even if I do understand a few things I am not confident enough to reply in Urdu. I consider myself a beginner if anything at all. Meeting once or more times a week for a few months is reasonable and ofcourse there is room for flexibility when need be. I would prefer one-on-one interaction with a male or female teacher but if the Only way possible is through the internet or skype or whatever it is, then I am ready to learn that way also. I would love a teacher who can speak English well enough to communicate properly with me as they would with a non-Pakistani . Basically there should be a minimal level of English and I would be fine in understanding them. So my goal is to be able to understand my family and friends who are Urdu speakers, and for me to be fluent enough to have proper conversations like a native speaker. Reading and writing is not important at the moment-I just need to focus on actually learning how to speak Urdu properly. If there is anyone out there that is willing to put in some time to teach me Urdu,that would be much appreciated. I prefer if the teacher lives in Sydney so that I can meet them and whatnot, but if there are only teachers from overseas then that will have to do, however if you are a teacher/tutor living in Sydney, Australia- please dont hesitate to contact me, I would love to meet as soon as possible.
