Greetings,
I am planning a trip to South America in Janurary. I took spanish in High School, so should be able to pick things up quick. I am also a teacher which I believe adds to my teachabity. I would like to spend about 1 or 2 hours a week in the next few months. I would love a teacher who is progressive and in tune with the many issues concerning the people of South and Central America.

I am a beginner and want to learn Spanish so I can live and work in Mallorca.
Learning conversation would be important and I would be happy to learn the Mallorcan version of Catalan rather than pure Spanish
My plan is to live in Palma for period January to March but would continue longer if required. 20 hours per week would seem to be normal but I would take advice on how best to do this with the tutor.
The teacher needs to be able to take a willing mature student and discover the best method for teaching her how to communicate with the Islands people.
