I am currently taking beginner spanish in school and am constantly around spanish speaking people, so i consider myself between beginner and intermediate. I would like to learn spanish so that i can be a translator for my church mission trip to Mexico this July. I am trying to learn Spanish using Pimsleur and am about half way through the 2nd series. So I am a beginner but not novice. Pimsleur is good but I can see that I won't really become familiar with the langauge without some serious conversation practice and formal tutoring.
I am learning primarily for my own pleasure and would like around 1-2 hrs a week.
