I am at the advanced intermediate level in my Spanish studies. I have attended immersion schools in Spain, albeit for 2 weeks at a time. Over the last 2 1/2 years I also attended Glendon campus Spanish group lessons every Saturday morning. However, I'm finding it difficult to get there now and would like to pursue lessons closer to our home in Mississauga.
I have found it exciting to improve conversationa l skills while learning basic grammar principles. I would especially like to , over the next few months, to concentrate on medical and healthcare to help me in my work as I am seeing immigrants from Latin America in my office.

I am interested in taking Spanish lessons. I have been trying to teach myself and have made some progress, yet I think that formal lessons would encourage me to progress at a faster pace. I have been to the Dominican Republic twice and to Cuba. I would like to learn more Spanish, since it is my intention to go to the D.R. again this summer. I need to understand how to work with more verbs and speak in different tenses, not just the present tense. I work full time, yet feel I could devote an evening a week.
I hope to find a teacher who is competent and patient and would be relatively close to my home or work place.
